Parent Volunteers!

St. Joseph AFC Sallynoggin would like to set up a panel of parent volunteers. Volunteering is a great way of connecting with your club, learning new skills and gaining valuable experience. No matter what your interests or availability, anyone can volunteer.

Reasons to volunteer

  • Give something back to your club by playing an important part in improving what we do
  • Gain valuable experience
  • Make use of your skills and talents – share your knowledge and skills with us so that we can put your know how to good use!
  • Meet new people – expand your network of friends – build connections
  • Build your confidence
  • Learn new skills and develop new interests – add to your CV
  • Make A Difference!

What if I need to stop volunteering?

Be up front and honest with us – if you feel that you are no longer in a position to volunteer let us know.  You can stop and start volunteering as often as you wish.

How much time will I be expected to commit?

Volunteering will vary from once off volunteering to longer periods of volunteering. If you have never volunteered before you can volunteer for short periods of time.  If you are an experienced volunteer you can volunteer for longer periods of time. The commitment will depend on your availability.

How do I start volunteering?

Please contact to find out more about volunteering.

Do I need to attend meetings?

Yes. A meeting will be held once a month for parent volunteers.

Volunteering is a very valuable way for you to become involved in your club!
